Arable

We pride ourselves on constantly improving the quality of the land we farm. This brings benefits to us, to the landlords whose land we manage and, in the longer term, to future generations.

Our mixed farming and traditional rotation methods mean, for example, that the straw we produce is used for bedding and then spread back on the land once composted. We feed our own grain to our cattle, meaning that the land receives back much of what we harvest from it and no food miles are involved, thus reducing our carbon footprint.
